MARION – A traffic stop Wednesday in the area of Illinois 13 and Terminal Drive in Marion led to man’s arrest for being non-compliant with his Registered Sex Offender status.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Herbert J. Grimm has failed to register as a sex offender since November 2022.

He was taken into custody, issued a citation for Violation of Sex Offender Registry and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
