MARION – A Sunday night traffic stop conducted by Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies in Marion ends up with a Marion’s man arrest on a drug charge.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, around 9:15 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were on routine patrol in Marion and saw a vehicle commit several traffic offenses.

The vehicle was stopped and through the course of an investigation the driver, identified as John R. Veach of Marion, was discovered to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.

Veach was arrested, issued a citation for Possession of Methamphetamine, and remanded to the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
