GREENVILLE – A Carmi man is set to appear in Bond County Court Dec. 29 on charges including DUI following an incident that happened while driving a student fan bus to the Carmi-White County vs. Bloomington Central Catholic volleyball game Monday night.

Online court records show 70-year-old Stephan J. Heath has been charged with Driving Under the Influence and Illegal Stopping/Standing/Parking.

The Carmi-White County School District released a statement saying it is aware of what happened and is investigating the matter.
