BENTON – Kevin Wilson is stepping down as Franklin County Clerk.

Wilson was elected to the office in 2022 as a Republican newcomer to county government.

Wilson is resigning due to taking a new job that he feels fits him better. His resignation is effective the first of next month.

The Franklin County Board accepted Wilson’s resignation at Monday’s meeting. A replacement has not yet been named.
