MARION – A preliminary hearing has been set for March 18 in Williamson County Court for 53-year-old Aaron Hill of West Frankfort.
Hill, who is the principal at Frankfort Community High School, was put on administrative leave last week after the West Frankfort School District learned about an incident he was involved in away from the school. It did not involve any students or their safety. The district is conducting an internal investigation into the matter. Marion Police are also investigating.
Online court records show Hill was released from the Williamson County Jail Friday after being extradited from Franklin County Thursday. He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery in Franklin County Wednesday.
